It is a youth group from a local youth association called "El Peñoncillo" from Cuevas del Becerro, a small village in Málaga. "Extiercol Project" was born as a Youth Initiative ("Youth in Action" european programme), their aims was clear: to find a way of living in their own village... and Organic Agriculture looked the best option.
The results of the first year were used to buy some machines and different materials, and actually they are still working on how to improve themselves, new products, networking, learning and teaching... Time will say if it was the right option!
During the seminar From Field to Europe, we were in Cuevas del Becerro, working and visiting the place, meeting people and getting ideas like the snail's farm.
